Puppy Purchase Contract
Senate Bulldogs
This agreement is entered into between the Seller, (hereafter referred to as "Seller"), and the Buyer, [Buyer’s Full Name] (hereafter referred to as "Buyer"). The Seller agrees to sell and the Buyer agrees to purchase a puppy, under the terms and conditions set forth below.
1. Puppy Information:
Breed:
Date of Birth: [Date]
Gender: [Male/Female]
Color/Markings: [Description]
Registration (if applicable): [AKC, UKC, etc.]
2. Purchase Price:
The total purchase price for the puppy is $[Amount]. A deposit of $[Deposit Amount] has been received, and the remaining balance of $[Remaining Balance] is due on or before the day of pickup.
3. Health Guarantee & 72-Hour Vet Check:
The Seller guarantees that the puppy is in good health at the time of sale.
A health check by a licensed veterinarian is required within 72 hours of receiving the puppy. The Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for the vet visit.
If the puppy is found to have any significant health issues (as determined by a licensed vet) within the 72-hour period, the Buyer has the right to return the puppy for a full refund, or exchange the puppy for another of equal value, at the Seller’s discretion. Seller is not responsible for any other costs.
The Buyer must provide a copy of the vet report – to include the puppy’s Microchip number-to the Seller as proof of the issue.
4. Vaccinations & De-worming:
The puppy has received the following vaccinations and deworming treatments:
De-wormed at weeks 2, 3, 4, 6, 8
Spectra-5 at week 7
The Buyer is responsible for continuing the puppy’s vaccinations and deworming schedule as per the vet’s recommendations.
5. Spaying/Neutering:
The puppy is sold intact (not spayed/neutered), the Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered no earlier than the age of 12 months.
6. Breeding Rights:
The puppy is sold as a companion pet and shall not be bred under any circumstances.
7. Return Policy:
The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller immediately in the event that the puppy needs to be rehomed or the Buyer can no longer care for the puppy. The Seller agrees to assist in finding a suitable new home or return the puppy to the Seller.
Under no circumstances is the Buyer to surrender the puppy to an animal shelter or sell the puppy to a third party without consulting the Seller first.
8. Buyer’s Responsibility:
The Buyer agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and regular veterinary check-ups for the puppy.
The Buyer agrees to keep the puppy in a safe, loving, and secure environment.
The Buyer agrees to ensure that the puppy is not exposed to harmful situations or neglectful conditions.
9. Limitations of Seller's Liability:
The Seller is not liable for any medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries that occur after the puppy leaves the Seller’s possession, except for conditions covered under the 72-hour health guarantee.
10. Agreement Acknowledgement:
By signing this contract, both parties agree to the terms and conditions set forth. This contract represents the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, written or verbal.
